Bardsey’s openers set the tone for this match with an opening partnership of 49. Our opening bowlers were a little expensive 35 runs from 4 overs but then the bowling changes worked and we settled down. Harry Proberts bowled 2 overs for 7 runs and took 2 wickets, Josh Worsfold got 1 wicket for 9 from his 2 and Dominic Graham only conceded 5 runs off his 2 overs.The fielding was good and there were two excellent catches taken by Josh Otter, leading from the front as captain. When it came to batting it was a sorry story. Our top scorer was Henry Jefferson, coming in at number eleven, with 4, a boudary as well! Their bowling was just too accurate for us and we lost by quite a margin.
