Oulton got off to a steady start from our opening bowlers Josh Heselden and Lewis Cook. The first change brought on Josh Otter and Jake Barber and Jake struck with two wickets in his second over, the first nicely taken behind the stumps by Nathan Stewart. Their captain hit a quick-fire 30 but once again we gave away far too many extras – 46 in total.

The fielding was good, a fantastic catch by Lewis Cook being the highlight.

Our batsman all started off well enough but couldn’t get going, with the exception of Lewis Cook, who batted very sensibly to end on 23 not out and Josh Otter was also not out at the end on 10. But once again the opposition’s score was too much for us and our total of 72 was not enough.
